@fat.sam.eats’ Reuben Sandwich

Sure to conjure up plenty of sandwich envy, this Reuben sarnie really does have it all! Jam-packed with pastrami, swiss cheese sauerkraut and plenty of French’s Mustard!

INGREDIENTS

French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
2 slices of sourdough bread, buttered
5 slices of good quality pastrami
1 tbsp sauerkraut
4 slices of Swiss cheese
2 tbsp Russian dressing (below)

Russian Dressing

2 tsp French’s Classic Yellow Mustard
1 tbsp finely chopped onion
3 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
3 tsp of horseradish, or to taste
1 tsp Frank’s RedHot hot sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp paprika
Pinch of salt.

Preparation Method

  • Butter both sides of the bread and toast in a pan until browned. Spread your Russian dressing onto the bottom slice.
  • Lay on pastrami. Lay on more pastrami – we want this sarnie BIG! 
  • Add sauerkraut and top with Swiss cheese. Melt the cheese with a blow torch, or under a grill. 
  • Drizzle with LOADS of French’s Mustard and add the final slice of toast.
  • Enjoy and be happy.
